Applications are now open for the 2026–27 ACRE Graduate Fellows Program!
The Centre for Asian Canadian Research and Engagement invites up to 7 UBC graduate students whose research engages Asian Canadian and Asian diaspora studies to join our ACRE Graduate Fellows cohort. Grad Fellows receive a stipend, mentorship, workspace access, and take part in a curated program of workshops, talks, field trips, and community-building events.
We encourage applications from graduate students whose work critically examines and expands the scope of Asian Canadian studies, especially from equity, interdisciplinary, and intersectional perspectives.
Application Deadline: September 14, 2026 (applications open)
Amount: A stipend of $1000 per Fellow
